The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, a premier academic medical research hub in New York City, is seeking 12 early-stage investigators with research foci in health equity, cancer, infectious disease & microbiology, and neuroscience as part of a larger, NIH-funded (1U54CA267776) cluster hiring initiative to promote and sustain academic cultures of inclusive excellence and foster a self-sustaining scientific community. This initiative reflects and builds upon Mount Sinai's longstanding commitment to anti-racism and diversifying the biomedical research workforce.

We are interested in faculty who are underrepresented in the biomedical sciences and/or have a strong track record in diversity, equity and inclusion who demonstrate high potential to establish independent research careers.

Thank you very much for your interest in the Assistant Professor position as part of the NIH FIRST Cohort cluster hiring program at Mount Sinai. Please take a few minutes to answer the questions listed below.
