The overarching goal of this postdoctoral research training program is to launch the careers of a new generation of researchers who are prepared to apply a multidisciplinary approach to research at the intersection of geriatric medicine and vulnerable populations. This two-year post-doctoral research fellowship will provide outstanding mentorship, foster a multidisciplinary team science environment, and facilitate the attainment of academic career and life skills needed to pursue and sustain long-term success as an independent investigator.

Ideal candidates are either physicians who have completed an accredited clinical residency or graduates of PhD or equivalent programs in relevant fields (e.g., clinical psychology, epidemiology, health psychology, anthropology).

Candidates usually begin their training the following summer after they apply. Notification of acceptance can be expected in the preceeding spring.
